Has trouble spelling, reading or pronouncing words?
Has difficulties understanding or remembering what they read?
Loves to listen and speak, but hates to read or write?
Does poorly on tests, no matter how hard the study?
Has difficulties with attention or concentration?

It is estimated that about 1 in 9 children of normal or superior intelligence are experiencing
academic difficulties and even failure when they don't respond to traditional teaching
methods. These difficulties can originate from a wide range of sources that can not always
be easily seen, but do have a major effect on a child's happiness and their successes in
school and life.
